Beat the Streets programs in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia begin to talk about collaborating to create more opportunities for kids across the country.
Let’s spread the knowledge on how to use wrestling to give kids dreams.
A resurgence begins in Chicago. Local leadership begin by serving 100 youth. Within 3 years they will reach 1,000.
Local leadership through kids, coaches, community members, and board leaders prove to be the key to a successful city-wide movement.
Lancaster, PA and Providence, RI join the movement to create more sustainability in the communities they’re serving.
A second resurgence begins in Cleveland. Their first two programs have kids charging at the opportunity. Sixty come out for each team.
Oakland public schools cut high school wrestling. A third resurgence is ignited raising the required $25,000 to save 4 programs. More support is driven to create Oakland’s two newest middle school programs.
Boston Youth Wrestling’s incredible innovation is recognized. Together realizing we are stronger as a team, Boston joins the movement as Beat the Streets Boston.
Help kids. Grow wrestling. Change the sport, invest in kids.
